Lingaa is a Tamil action drama film being directed by K. S. Ravikumar, who also scripted the film in collaboration with the film's dialogue writer, Pon Kumaran. The film stars Rajinikanth playing dual role, Jagapati Babu, Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles.
Music is being composed by A. R. Rahman while cinematography was headed by R. Rathnavelu. Sabucyril handles the Production design for the film and A. Amaran is the Art director. P.C. Sanath is the Vfx director . Lee whitetaker and T. Ramesh handles the Action sequence for the film. This is slated to get released only in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi language. The film is expected to be released by 12 December 2014
